My family loves granola! Sadly I can only ever find the small packs and they go so fast!
I thought making granola was super tedious until my friend shared some of her favorite recipes with me.
This one is the winner!
- 4cups of oats
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbs of cinnamon
- 1 cup of nuts (I use cashews and almonds)
- 2/3 cups of honey
- 1/3 cup coconut oil.
Mix wet ingredients.
Mix dry ingredients
Then mix together.
(My son loves helping me bake!)
Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out granola.
Bake at 300 for 10min stir and bake for another 10min. Let cool then store in air tight container. Yields 6-7 cups.
Note: It will still feel kinda sticky until it cools.
My husband loves eating this with yogurt. My son and I love it with almond milk and frozen berries!
