Hello my fellow foodies,
Dont have all my prep pictures because I woke up not feeling the greatest but wanted to share the recipe.
Chicken Noodle Soup
- 1 can cream of chicken
- 1 can cream of celery
- 1/2 stick of butter sliced
- 1lb shredded or raw chicken
- 1 tbs dry basil
- 32oz low sodium chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups frozen veggies
- 1/2 12oz pck of wide egg noodles
If using raw chicken place at the bottom of your crockpot. Spread cream of soups on top (alternative recipe) and than add sliced butter, chicken broth and basil.
Set crock pot on low for 6 hrs. At the 4 hour mark add frozen veggies (and chicken if precooked). Finally 10-20min before eating add the noddles.
I prefer adding precooked shredded chicken to avoid the extra fat taste. My husband loves it both ways.
