Hello fellow foodies,
This recipe is often requested by our hamburger loving friends. We haven’t had homemade burgers in a while so thought it was time to add them into our meals for the week 🙂
I bought 3lbs of beef but cooked up 1lb to use for tacos later next week
Recipe
- 2lb ground beef
- 1 egg (with or without yolk)
- 2-3tbs ketchup (or bbq sauce)
- 1 pck ranch seasoning (or onion soup mix).
- 4 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
Simply put it all in a bowl and mix it up.
I make the hamburgers about 1/2in thick and 4-5in in diameter. More or less. It’s really personal preference how you shape them. I make smaller ones for our kids. Yields about 6-8.
I then use our george foreman to grill them up until they’re cooked all the way through.
They are super easy and delicious!
Happy eating,
