Crockpot bacon ranch potatoes

Hello fellow foodies,

If you haven’t noticed a pattern on my blog I’m a HUGE fan of crockpots. Especially on the weekend when we are gone a long time during the day.  It’s nice to have lunch and/or dinner ready when we get home.

On pinterest I stumbled upon this yummy looking recipe! Her pictures are much more enticing than mine but the potatoes were as good as she made them sound! You will want to eat them all!

Ingredients:

  • 3lbs red potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups of cheese
  • 2 tbs ranch dressing
  • 6-8 bacon strips.

Note: I usually cook bacon on a griddle but you can also bake it in the oven.

While the bacon is baking….wash and dice all your potatoes into bite size pieces.
Line your crockpot with aluminum foil (enough that you have extra to fold in).

Spray the foil so potatoes won’t stick.

Reapeat these layering steps 4 times:

  1. 1/4 of the diced potatoes
  2. 2 slices of crumbled bacon
  3. 1/2 tbs of dry ranch mix
  4. 1/3-1/2 cup cheese.

Once the layering is finished fold in tinfoil and cover the crockpot.

Cook on high 3-4hrs or low 6-8

Right before serving I like to sprinkle a little garlic salt and mix the potatoes.

We grilled some delicious marinated chicken to have with it.

Everyone loved it and we didn’t have any left overs!

So mouthwatering,  delicious,  and comforting!

Happy eating,
