Lily Jade bags packed without diapers!

Hello fellow purse  lovers,

I’ve had a few recent requests for a comparison of the Lily Jade bags…specifically when packing for kids not in diapers. This post is geared towards older kids with one potty trained toddler.

These are the items I have packed up:

  • 3 books
  • Sticker book
  • 2 boogie boards
  • 2 waterbottle (17oz and 12oz)
  • Spare outfit and underwear
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • First aide kit
  • Granola bar
  • Wipes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Logan and lenora pouch with magnetic squares, 2 ipods, 2 figurines, mini lego set, and small set piece with hotwheel cars.
  • Small set piece with mommy items
  • Wallet, keys, and phone

Doesn’t inlcude the kleenex, gum and a few hotwheel cars that my son promotly took after I unpacked the insert. (Shown in video version)

I usually pack everything in the insert minus the books and mommy items (small set piece, wallet, and phone).

This is what everything looks like in the rosie with room on top for a small blanket, swimsuits, jackets, carrier etc.

This is the Meggan with everything packed up. It has the most extra room on top. I’ve even fit a small beach towel once and multiple jackets!

You can also fit your waterbottles in the side pockets. I just prefer them on the inside with the Meggan.

The Shaylee packs similar to the Meggan on top but not nearly as much space.

The madeline packs uniquely because of the front bottle pockets but can’t fit as many extras on top.

You really can’t go wrong with any of these bags! I usually sugguest the Shaylee and Rosie for those who can only get one. The Madeline is great as well for minimal and smart packers. The shaylee and Madeline are both regular purse sizes but I’ve used the Rosie for just me as well. The Meggan can fit everything you could ever need! I’ve had it two years and it’s held up so well!

Hope this comparison helps you decide,
