Hello fellow foodies,
Yesterday I had a baptism to go to so I quickly threw this together so I could pop it in the oven once I got home.
My friend shared the recipe with me and it’s so quick and easy! I keep shredded chicken in my freezer that I can pull out for recipes like this but I’ve also boiled raw chicken for 20min and shredded it.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups cooked/shredded chicken
- 6 oz ham, cut into bite size pieces
- 4 oz butter, melted
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2oz lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
- 5 oz swiss cheese slices
Step 1
Spray 9×13 inch pan and layer on the chicken and ham.
Step 2
Blend all the remaining ingredients, minus the cheese, in a blender and spread evenly on top of the meat.
Step 3
Layer on the cheese. I didn’t realize I was short 4 slices so I improvised 😉
Step 4
Bake for 30-40min. Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, if desired. We were starving so I may have only let it bake 25min 😉
That’s it! Serve it up with your favorite roasted veggies or salad and enjoy 🙂
