Homemade salsa! 

Hello fellow foodies,

​Took forever for our tomatoes to ripen this year! Our garden did pretty well otherwise! 

I love homemade salsa though! Usually I use canned diced tomatoes but this go around I just did regular garden fresh tomatoes. 

Recipe

  • 4-5 large tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 white onion,  quartered
  • 1 tbs lime juice
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 1jalapeno, halfed and seeds removed. 
  • Favorite seasonings I did basil, parsley and cilantro (fresh).

I mixed mine in a nutri bullet. Just pressed down 3-4 times to keep it chunky. I’ve also just pulsed it in a blender. 

Once its done I mix in a splash a white vinegar and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy!
